Cruise Shipping Miami, scheduled March 16-19, 2015, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, is the global flagship event of the UBM and Seatrade Cruise Portfolio, which includes the Seatrade Cruise Asia and Seatrade Cruise Med events, and the Seatrade Insider and Seatrade Cruise Review publications.
Since 1985 Cruise Shipping Miami has been the premier annual event of the worldwide cruise industry. From a small gathering of 150 cruise industry executives in a hotel meeting room in New York City, Cruise Shipping Miami has grown into a four-day conference and three-day exhibition drawing 11,000 attendees, more than 979 exhibiting companies from 123 countries and over 300 international journalists to become the cruise industry's annual marketplace of ideas, products and services. 
For 30 years, Cruise Shipping Miami has been the leading international exhibition and conference serving the cruise industry by bringing together buyers and suppliers for a week of networking, sourcing, and education. No other cruise event attracts such a broad range of industry players, with nearly 2,000 cruise line owners and operators from 66 companies.
Cruise Shipping Miami is exclusively supported by Cruise Lines International Association and Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association.
Cruise Shipping Miami plays host to more than 979 exhibiting companies, looking to promote an extensive range of shipping products and accessories. Shipping equipments, safety and security tools, restaurant supplies, laundry equipments, engineering instruments and outdoor furniture items are some of the prime items of exhibit at the show. Port destinations, tour operating services, ground handling facilities, food items, beverages, classy china and porcelain items, crystal products and design and lighting were also showcased on this event.
Croatian Cruise Ports ( Port Authorities of Dubrovnik, Split, Sibenik, Zadar and Rijeka) gathered together in presenting Croatian ports on this event. Booth No 1031, on 1200 sqm, was crowded all three days of show. Each port authority held meetings with different cruise line representatives, discussing about new itineraries and port facilities improvements.  Croatian tourist agencies and tourist boards joined to port authorities in mutual promotion of Croatia as a cruise destination.
From 1 January to 30 November 2014, there were 698 cruises in Croatia. The total number of passengers arriving on those cruises were 1,021,267, staying 1,496 days at an average of just over 2 days stay per cruise. The majority of foreign vessels on cruises recorded their first entry into the internal sea waters of the Republic of Croatia in the County of Dubrovnik-Neretva (67.8%), followed by the County of Split-Dalmatia (19,5%), Zadar (4.7%), Istria (3.2%), Šibenik-Knin (3.0%) and Primorje-Gorski kotar (1.8%).

All ports authorities announced the news in its ports. This year Split Port Authority expects growth in turnover of 15%, or about 260 000 passengers and the completion of the first phase of  berths. In Sibenik they completed project of upgrading and expanding the pier Vrulje, which included fully furnished two connections for cruisers length of 190 meters and 133 meters, which is expected to double the number of passengers up to 20,000 visitors on a cruise in 2015. Similarly, in Zadar is the construction of infrastructure capacity in the new port Gaženica, increased cruise traffic of 50% over in 2014, while in 2015 they expect additional growth from new 50%. Port of Rijeka, in cooperation with the city of Rijeka and the Tourist Board of the City of Rijeka, after intensive joint promotional activities in 2014, a significant increase in traffic expected in the coming years.

Conference organizers announced a new name for the event: Seatrade Cruise Global. Seatrade is a familiar name those in the industry. The conference used the name until 2011, when it was called Seatrade Cruise Shipping Miami.
UBM confirmed its 2016 Cruise Shipping event will relocate to the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. The change of venue was made due to planned renovations scheduled for the Miami Beach Convention Center during the time of the annual conference.
Next year's Seatrade Cruise Global 2016 will be March 14-17. Seatrade Cruise is expected to bring an estimated economic impact of more than $10 million annually to Broward for each year it's held there.
