For the first time, Island Princess arrived to Dubrovnik harbor, on Sunday 8th November 2015.
Launched in 2003 and refurbished in 2015, this 91,627 gross tons cruise ship is the sister ship to Coral Princess and together they are the only Panamax ships in Princess's Cruises fleet. Renovations have added many of the cruise line’s most popular signature elements, including „Movies Under the Stars" and the „Sanctuary".  Island Princess is a fabulous swimming holiday resort that has been made for making passengers stay on board unforgettable. There are almost 90% of luxury cabins with balconies on board as well as more than 700 balconies and a promenade deck around the ship that can accommodate up to 1,970 passengers.
Island Princess's main itinerary consists of seven day Alaskan cruises from Vancouver, British Columbia to Whittier, Alaska during the summer months. During the fall, winter, and spring, Island Princess and her sister ship Coral Princess run 10/14-15 day Panama Canal cruises with stops in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, San Juan del Sur, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, Cartagena, Colombia and Oranjestad, Aruba.
In 2015 she sailed for the first time to Europe, traveling between Barcelona and Venice.
General Manager of Dubrovnik Port Authority welcomed the captain during their first visit to Dubrovnik.
