On Friday 5th May 2017, Dubrovnik Port Authority welcomed the cruise ship Costa Luminosa first time calling the Port of Dubrovnik – Gruž, coming from Corfu with a total number of 2437 passengers and 880 crew members. The 92.720 GT Costa Luminosa is a cruise ship owned and operated by Costa Crociere SpA with 294-meter-length, 32.3-meter-beam and 8.3-meter-draft. The vessel was built by the Fincantieri, Marghera shipyard in 2009.

At a welcome event onboard, the representatives of Dubrovnik Port Authority and Dubrovnik Tourist Board wished the Master, passengers and crew a warm welcome on their first arrival to Dubrovnik and calm sea on their way to Venice.

This season Costa Luminosa is scheduled for 35 calls of the Port of Dubrovnik in the period from 5th May until 24th October 2017.
