Dubrovnik is hosting Adriatic Sea Forum 2023
On Thursday 4 and Friday 5 May, Dubrovnik will be hosting the Adriatic Sea Forum – Cruise, Ferry, Sail & Yacht 2023, the itinerant international event dedicated to sea tourism in the Adriatic conceived and organised by Risposte Turismo, the sixth edition of which will be held in partnership with the Dubrovnik Port Authority and City of Dubrovnik.
Launched in 2013, the forum has over the years become a benchmark event for all operators in the cruise, ferry and nautical sectors, and will once again offer the opportunity to meet and engage with participants, already confirmed, from 15 different countries. Entrepreneurs and managers of shipping companies, maritime agencies, port terminals, tour operators, travel agencies, marinas and small ports, nautical charter companies, shipyards and other organisations will be joining representatives of Governments, Public Administrations, national and international bodies for a two-day event that will comprise business networking opportunities, discussions and debates on the opportunities still to be grasped in the Adriatic, and on new ways in which sea tourism can be developed in the area.
Over 40 international speakers including: Oleg Butković - Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Croatia, Eduardo Santander - Executive Director of the European Travel Commission and Marie-Caroline Laurent, Director General for CLIA Europe. Numerous topics will be treated during two days of the event, from the future of cruise sector in the area to the new investment plans for the nautical one, from the relaunch of the ferry vacation to the combination between sustainability and the economic and occupational growth. A specific focus will be dedicated to sea tourism in Croatia, with the aims to be achieved in the coming years in the light of the numerous development projects currently under way or recently completed.
