With cruise vessel "Artemis” owned by cruise company Grand Circle Cruise Line tonight at the port of Dubrovnik in Gruž arrived millionth passenger, Ms. Carolyn Leigh from the city of Seattle in the U.S. state of Washington. Lady Leigh immediately after disembarking was 'hijacked' by pirates, while she was welcomed in Dubrovnik by Port Authority general manager Mr. Kristijan Pavic. This year millionth passenger delayed by nine days comparing to the last year due to decline in domestic traffic, while the number of cruise passengers is in increase. By the end of the year we are expecting increase of 5 to 7 percent in total port traffic, and for the first time celebrate one million of cruise passengers in Dubrovnik as a destination.
