Italian aircraft carrier Cavour in Dubrovnik

ITS Cavour, an Italian aircraft carrier and the largest unit in the Italian Navy, came to the port of Dubrovnik ( Gruz), on 21st November 2014.
Building work on the new vessel, , began at Fincantieri's shipyards in Riva Trigoso and Muggiano in July 2001. The Cavour was launched in July 2004 and began sea trials in 2006.

Costa Cruises “presented” its new ship, the Costa Diadema. She has been built for a 550 million euro at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard.
The Diadema is the 12th cruise ship built in Italy by Fincantieri for Costa Cruises, for a total investment worth more than 5 billion euro, and is largest Italian cruise ship.

On 6th of October 2014, m/v Louis Aura sailed into the port of Gruz.
This 16000 tonne cruise ship began his life in 1968 in Germany as the M/V Starward for Norwegian Cruise Lines until 1995. After 1995 the ship became the M/V Bolero until 2004. Then it became Orient Queen until being renamed in Louis Aura in September 2013. Most of its life it was registered in Panama until the 2013 renaming when its registry was transferred to Valletta, Malta.
